Scooter Rental in Nusa Dua, Bali

By WiPassion · Rental guide & local tips for Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua is Bali's most exclusive resort enclave — a gated peninsula on the southern tip of the island where five-star hotels, immaculate white sand beaches, and calm, clear water define the experience. If you're staying here, you're in one of the best-positioned spots in all of Bali for exploring the island by scooter.

The Bukit Peninsula — the rugged limestone plateau that Nusa Dua sits on — is home to some of Bali's most dramatic landscapes and iconic attractions. Uluwatu Temple, Pandawa Beach, Jimbaran Bay, and the GWK Cultural Park are all within a short ride. A scooter gives you the freedom to visit all of them in a single day, on your own schedule.

WiPassion delivers scooters directly to your resort in Nusa Dua — message us on WhatsApp with your hotel name and we will arrange everything.

Why Explore Nusa Dua by Scooter?

Nusa Dua is spread across a large resort peninsula, and the attractions on the Bukit are spread out along cliff roads that are scenic but impractical for taxis. On a scooter you can cruise the cliffside roads, stop at any of the surf viewpoints, and arrive at Uluwatu right at sunset without worrying about a taxi waiting.

Staying in Nusa Dua and renting a scooter also unlocks Jimbaran's famous sunset seafood strip, the watersports area of Tanjung Benoa, and quick access to Kuta and Seminyak — all of which are far more expensive to reach by taxi, especially for multiple trips.

Riding Tips for Nusa Dua

Security gates. The main Nusa Dua resort zone has a security checkpoint at the entrance. Rental scooters can enter — just tell the guard you're a guest and have your hotel name ready.

Bukit cliff roads are winding. The roads around Uluwatu and Pandawa Beach have tight corners and steep descents. Ride at a comfortable pace, especially if you're unfamiliar with the route.

Fill up before heading south. Petrol stations are less frequent on the Bukit Peninsula. Top up near the Nusa Dua gate before heading toward Uluwatu.
